This DK weight yarn is made from ultra-fine merino wool, with a micron count of 17. This is the most next-to-skin friendly hand-dyed merino you will ever work with! Olive Yarn Dye Co is dyed by hand in Houston, Texas, and is lovingly created one skein at a time just for crafters like you!

As with any hand-dyed yarn, we recommend hand washing in cool water and lying flat to dry. No matter how well the dye is set, some colors are persistent and could transfer if not careful. We love to use color catchers in our hand wash baths!

Although our yarn is dyes in batches, colors can and will fluctuate from skein to skein even when dyed together. We believe that is what makes every skein of hand dyed yarn unique and an absolute joy to work with. Please consider alternating multiple skeins in your project for the most seamless results.
